About the project
Lyons Salt Company is a producer of salt products for the agriculture, transportation and commercial de-icing industries. When driving safely in winter weather conditions, there’s a good chance your path is being cleared by products from the good people at Lyons Salt’s mining, processing and shipping operation in Lyons, Kansas.
When Lyons Salt embarked on a large expansion project in 2008 Gilmore Solutions was called upon to provide technical assistance, project management, system design and implementation services. Gilmore Solutions provided technologies above and below the surface to help Lyons Salt meet its business objectives. From installation of an advanced fiber-optic network to state of the art voice over IP (VoIP) communication and IP video surveillance systems, Lyons Salt counts on Gilmore Solutions to meet their business needs with technology, then keep the systems up and running in an extreme environment.
